(a) PET Resin: PET is the abbreviation for Polyethylene Terephthalate. This is extruded into polyester films of various grades. PET resin is manufactured in Uflex’s plant at Malanpur near Gwalior in India.

(b) Packaging Films: Uflex manufactures myriad packaging films like Bi-axially oriented Polypropylene (BOPP) Films; Bi-axially oriented Polyethylene Terephthalate (BOPET) Films; Cast Polypropylene (CPP) Films; Metalized Films and other Speciality Films. BOPET films are available in plain, surface treated, chemically coated, matte, heat sealable, metallisable, GREEN, clear and extra clear varieties. BOPP Films demonstrate good mechanical strength, superior chemical resistance and dimensional stability, excellent barrier against moisture, superior optical clarity, resistance to tear and abrasion. CPP films are known for enhancing shelf appeal, imparting good gloss, transparency and heat seal-ability besides offering good oxygen and moisture barrier.
