Our automatic “in-register” REELsplicerTM reel changer improves the production capacity of Berhalter high-performance die-cutting machines through increased machine utilisation, but also provides more time for quality control and reduces waste.
The REELsplicerTM is a compact reel changer which enables the simultaneous loading of two reels in a very user-friendly and reliable way.
Non-stop unwinding improves the material usage by reducing waste and guarantees a consistent tension during reel splicing. The edge-to-edge splicing unit separates the web with a precise cut and applies the splicing tape without overlapping at the same time. The „in register“ feature verifies the position of the running material and the automatic web guiding system guarantees that the materials are perfect aligned for splicing.
Trouble-free and intelligent material handling is a prerequisite for the productivity level expected today.
