Zanders hosts experts from the specialty paper industry

Positive response among the participants of the guided tour of the Zanders facility on the occasion of the Specialty Papers Europe Conference Cologne/Bergisch Gladbach.

On the occasion of the Specialty Papers Europe Conference in Cologne in April (www.specialtypaperconference.com/europe), over 50 participants took the opportunity to tour the production facilities of Zanders, manufacturer of high-quality specialty papers and boards. Industry experts gained an exclusive insight into the plant at Bergisch Gladbach near Cologne. Furthermore, the participants also learned how, following its acquisition by mutares AG in May 2015 and by introducing new structures, products and services, Zanders (www.zanders.com) has been achieving one major success after another.

At the conference, sales director John Tucker emphasised the company’s positive development in his talk on oil and grease-resistant, flexible packaging papers: By launching its brand "Zanbarrier" in 2016, Zanders has successfully consolidated its position in this market too and has been recording sales growth ever since. Participants of the guided tour of the facility gained interesting insights into the Zanders paper mill in Bergisch Gladbach.
