Xeretec to showcase Xerox Versant and iGen production technology at The Print Show 2016

Xeretec, the largest Xerox Partner in the UK, is to display a selection of technology from the manufacturer at The Print Show this year, including the Xerox Versant 80 and 2100 HD production presses, while experts will also be hand to showcase the profit boosting, waste saving, and capacity growing power of the Xerox iGen series.

Having signed up for the event earlier this year, the supplier has so far remained tight-lipped on the technology it would unveil. But in an effort to boost an already-high level of interest in this year’s show, it has revealed its plans early on. The Print Show 2016 will take place at the NEC in Birmingham from October 11th to 13th.

The Xerox Versant 80 and 2100 HD will be shown with EFI workflow front end technology and colour management suite, which Susan Bayne group marketing executive in Scotland for Xeretec, said provides “fantastic quality and reliability”.

Bayne added: “They are ideal if you’re looking to adopt the latest in print technology to open up new revenue streams and new opportunities, there’s no doubt that the Versant range has the technology, solid Xerox-heritage and attractive price point to really accelerate the growth of your business.”

Also on show at Xeretec’s stand will be the latest KIP wide-format colour printer, which Bayne said delivers fast, low-cost colour, and black and white wide-format documents in high quality.

Visitors to the Xeretec booth will also have the opportunity to speak with Xerox experts about the manufacturer’s iGen products, including the iGen 5, billed as the most productive digital press on the market. In addition, technicians, and representatives from EFI and KIP will be able to offer help and advice on wide-format, print servers, colour matching, and software.

“The Print Show provides us with a platform to showcase our award winning products and share our knowledge and experience to address some of the challenges the print industry faces,” Bayne said.

She continues: “We understand that it is a difficult time and the pressure is on to adapt to new ways of working.  From our perspective we’d like to help you on your journey and make the transition easier – helping you cut costs, access new revenue streams and keeping you abreast of technological advancements and industry trends.

“We are looking forward to this event and want to help your business thrive. “
