WS Packaging Group has introduced a new solution for brands looking to create or refresh packaging.

The solution, dubbed DesignMax, is a value-added service that will assess brands' existing packages and provides advanced solution to help in construction, cost-effective market testing and better design options.

It offers a cost-effective process designed to engage new audiences and increase shelf presence.

DesignMax can provide various designs to different industries ranging from cosmetics, healthcare and household goods to wine and spirits.

WS Packaging said it will provide services to different brands such as Bayer, Coppertone, and Svedka.

Some of the services being provided include designing of folding carton for hair care products and offering label designs for ice cream manufacturers.

DesignMax can also help in new FDA mandated changes, including sizing, layout, and content.

The new solution is said to integrate advanced printing techniques, as well as updated guidelines, new techniques in construction, design prototypes, and technical capabilities to provide enhanced labels and packages.

The service is suitable for brand updates, graphic updates or new brand concepts. It offers innovative design options ranging from folding carton sleeves and heat-changing label colorations to advanced hour glass timer labels and geo-location identifiers in real-time.

WS Packaging Group CEO Charlie Eitel said: "The DesignMax tool allows our staff artists to work directly with clients to provide them with suggestions and technological enhancements to their art to help improve the brand's appearance on the shelf.

"With our knowledge and capabilities in advanced printing technology, combined with our design staff, we can offer breakout designs the customer may not even have known were possible."
