A range of 266mm wide web direct thermal/thermal transfer printers designed for rugged reliability and fast processing speeds has been launched by Sato Europe.
The M10e can create labels up to a full 300mm wide at up to 127mm/s. The 266mm printhead enables printing of large format compliance labels at top speed without rotating the image and can hold media sizes up to approximately 300x423mm.
A 32-bit high speed RISC processor maximises throughput while the machine’s footprint and heavy-duty construction are said to make it ideal for shipping and logistics, electronics, paper and timber and general manufacturing applications.
Additional standard features include 16MB memory, 6MB of flash memory, 305dpi print resolution, plug-in interfaces, human readable fonts and self-diagnostic checking.
