Veritiv, a North American business-to-business distributor of packaging and facility solutions, is offering sustainable paperboard-based packaging solution to the customers.

The company has collaborated with Carvajal Pulp and Paper to commercialize Earth Pact paperboard, which is produced by using sugarcane bagasse fibers.

The sugarcane bagasse fiber is an annually renewable and tree-free fiber source that can be recycled and composted.

Veritiv is already supplying Earth Pact line of products to some of its customers such as Biossance.

Veritiv said that Biossance required structural and graphic package designs, kitting services, transportation and warehousing services, in addition to sustainable paperboard.

Based in Veritiv, Veritiv is a business-to-business distributor of packaging, facility solutions, print and publishing products and services.

The company also offers logistics and supply chain management services.

With customers in a wide range of industries, the company operates around 170 distribution centers across the US, Mexico and Canada.

Veritiv provides various packaging products and solutions to its customers, including customized packaging design, engineering, testing, and material sourcing solutions.

The company’s products will help customers to reduce breakage, damage, and loss.

The company’s packaging products include corrugated solutions, cartons and boxes, flexible packaging films, tapes and closures, retail packaging supplies, protective packaging and cushioning.

Veritiv produces corrugated pallets, custom shipping containers, double wall boxes, folding cartons, plastic corrugated products, pre-assembled packaging, pre-glued trays, specialty boxes and stock boxes.

The company also produces packaging equipment, including stretch wrappers, case formers/erectors, case sealers, shrink systems, strappers, labelers and coders, baggers, blister sealers and cushioning systems.

In September 2017, Veritiv acquired All American Containers, which is a family owned distributor of rigid packaging that includes plastic, glass and metal containers, caps, closures and other plastic pouches.

Headquartered in Miami, All American Containers has around one million ft2 of warehousing facilities found across the US.

All American Containers has a workforce of 260 employees and has generated revenue of nearly $225m as of June 30, 2017.
