Interplas organizer Reed Exhibitions, has announced a new plan to raise the benefits of participation in this international plastics and rubber exhibition. Developed in consultation with a broad cross-section of industry members, it has been endorsed for Interplas 2005 by leading trade bodies that include the Plastics Machinery Manufacturers and Distributors Association and the British Plastics Federation.

According to Reed’s group exhibition director Justin Tadman: “Since the 2002 Interplas, we have been looking very closely at conditions within the European plastics and rubber market, and working with many exhibitors and trade bodies to ensure that Interplas offers the market exactly what it needs.”

“The initiatives we are taking demonstrate our complete commitment to making Interplas 2005 the best new business generator for our exhibitors, as well as the hub of all that is best about the plastic and rubber manufacturing industry in the UK for the more than 25,000 individuals that regularly visit and support the show.”

Among the changes, it will become a three-day event, running during the mid-week period of Tuesday – Thursday, October 4-6, 2005; and the stand pricing structure is being amended to generate savings for all exhibitors. Mains power rates will also be held at 1996 levels.
