Recently arrived in the supermarket chill cabinet is the Ubley range of premium yoghurts, mousses, creams and desserts from Yeo Valley, for which the lidding has been manufactured in co-extruded foil and easy-peel polyester and UV flexo printed by Chadwicks of Bury.
The overall Ubley brand incorporates 38 different flavour products in 71.5ml and 86.3ml sizes plus four-packs, all of which were designed in-house by Chadwicks.
Now producing in excess of 40 million lids each week, Chadwicks has established itself as a world leader in supplying pre-cut heat sealable lidding for the dairy and food and beverage sectors. Two of its six Mark Andy flexo presses have now been converted over to UV and are capable of printing in up to nine colours.
In addition to Yeo Valley, Chadwicks numbers Express Dairies, Arla and Kraft within its regular customer base. The company is part of the currently up for sale Clondalkin Group.
