Treater for high output laminating line

Sherman Treaters supplied a custom designed corona treatment station for a major European packaging supplier in The Netherlands. It is installed on an ER-WE-PA line, nearly 3m wide, combining several coating and laminating technologies.

The universal type system supplied by Sherman includes ‘triple-treat’ ceramic electrodes 3m long and can treat many substrates, including conductive materials such as aluminium foil. It is powered by a GX250R high frequency IGBT generator, with true output display and frequency controlled impedance matching to ensure optimum energy savings.
