Pira and the British Standards Institute have launched a joint consultancy service for companies trading internationally in packaged goods. Its aim is to provide a complete understanding of all product and packaging requirements in end use markets in Europe and beyond.
Aspects covered include: product safety requirements; design standards for both product and pack; substance and material bans; product and pack labelling and information requirements; packaging waste requirements; and environmental labelling and marketing.
