The new office, which is situated in the proximity of the airport, will support food producers in Russia, the Baltics and CIS countries, by using turnkey processing and packaging solutions of tna.

The suite of solutions include materials handling, cooking and frying, cooling and freezing, distribution, seasoning and coating, weighing and packaging, metal detection, verification, inserting and labelling, case packing and controls integration.

Recently tna opened a new office in Tokyo, Japan. The firm has 30 facilities with 14,000 systems installed in over 120 countries.

The Australian packaging firm is also a provider of integrated food processing and packaging solutions.

Alexandra Simakova, who has over 15 years of experience in sales, business development and service management, will manage the new office.

Simakova also has experience in confectionery, powders, baked goods and various dry foods, which will enable the customers in choosing the right food solutions.

tna chief sales officer Peter Oussoren said: “We see immense potential in the region with more and more manufacturers looking for high-speed technology that can help them reach the same throughput with a single piece of equipment.

“Whether that’s a high-capacity fryer or ultra high-speed packaging system, with our advanced turnkey technology, food manufacturers can cater to the increasing demand while maximising their return on investment.

“Alexandra’s expertise together with our range of high performance packaging and processing solutions will be instrumental in supporting the growth of the regional market.”

Simakova said: “The Russian food industry is very diverse, with each region having its own specific set of preferences. At the same time, we’re also seeing global trends affect local consumer choices. As a global business with a strong regional footprint, tna is well placed to cater to both the needs of the big multinationals as well as the smaller local manufacturers.”
