Imaje7000

Imaje says it has launched the first “third generation” of laser coders with its new Imaje 7000 series, which it promises will “mean the end of poor printing performance and overheating problems in laser coding”.

The scribing CO2 laser coders incorporate a head that can operate at up to 35 degs C without external cooling. Imaje says the combination of the “most advanced galvohead technology with the latest CO2 laser source” results in a product output of up to 1,000 characters/sec without affecting quality.

The printer’s modular design enables it to be easily integrated into most production lines; the controller allows easy access to safety features; and the user interface features an “iTouch” 12 in colour touchscreen with easy to recognise icons.
