The Axioma 8 Millennium from Bielloni Castello belongs to a new generation of machines which aims to reduce job changeover time, reports UK agent David Hulme Machinery.
Featuring a powered drying system, high precision mechanics, thick cast iron structure, digital tension control and automatic diagnosis on video, the press’s compact form and its functional design allow easy handling and job supervision, claims the company.
Anilox and printing sleeve changeover is carried out in the machine. Printing widths are up to 1,200mm and job changeover is claimed at less than 25min. Control of the working cycle up to the maximum repeat is computerized and cantilever rewinders reduce the reel changeover time.
