A high speed filling line supplied by Bradman Lake company Albro has recently commenced operating at Itambé’s new dairy plant in Uberlândia, Brazil.
Producing over 400 cans/min, Albro believes it is the world’s fastest milk powder can filling line.
Machines from five countries were involved in the £2m turnkey project designed and put together by Albro in just six months. An automated can fabrication line feeds directly intro the fully automated milk canning line that runs through to case packing – at its heart a 30-head Albro Theta rotary powder filler. Its vacuum filling system enables 300 and 400g of milk powders with different densities to be filled into one can size highly accurately. High speed combines with gentle handling, with no moving parts in product contact.
