Packaging and printing services provider SunDance has announced that it is offering its clients virtually unlimited creativity and flexibility in designing pouch packaging for several products.

The company installed Hudson Sharp Ares 400 pouch machine at its packaging plant.  The advanced pouch packaging machine accepts recyclable polyethylene, laminated films, bio-films, and paper-like films.

Hudson Sharp Ares 400 pouch machine will help select from a wide range of packaging film types and thicknesses. This allows the company’s clients to design a variety of pouches to meet virtually any product requirement.

SunDance said the machine will allow the creation of new pouches with a clear front and metallic back that displays pouch contents; a bottom-gusseted stand-up pouch with a clear front, clear bottom and white backing.

The new designs include a pouch with a backing that resembles Kraft paper for a retro or green look.

Other packaging options include zippered pouches, resealable closers, inserted gusset, tamper-proof packaging, and food-grade pouches.

SunDance said that it also offers assistance to its clients to optimise the new pouch packaging opportunities to present their products in new ways.

The company was recently granted a General Certificate of Conformity for compliance with the federal Poison Prevention Packaging Act for child-resistant packaging.

Earlier this month, the company announced the production of stand-up pouches after the acquisition of Hudson-Sharp Ares 400-SUP machine.
