Sun Chemical is set to showcase a range of inks, adhesives and coatings for packaging applications at this year’s LatinPack event in Santiago, Chile, which will take place between 7 and 8 June.

At the event, the company will exhibit SunVisto AquaGreen water-based inks, which can be used in a range of paper packaging applications. These inks will help meet the requirements of quick service supermarkets and restaurants.

SunLam family of lamination adhesives includes water-based, solvent-free and solvent-based products suitable for packaging applications, including retort lamination for food packages.

SunLam lamination adhesives, which shows improved resistance with acidic foods and liquids, can be used with both flexographic and rotogravure print processes.

The company will also exhibit SunPak FSP range of bio-based and lithographic inks for board and paper applications.

Suitable for food packaging applications, SunPak FSP inks are available in four colors such as silver, rich gold, rich pale gold and pale gold.

SunUno Solimax multi-purpose ink system has been developed for surface print applications on multiple flexible packaging substrates.

The system is intended for surface printing and lamination for various end-use applications, including lidding materials, medical laminates and food packaging for confectionery and snack food.

SunStrato Duratort family of polyurethane-based and lamination inks are suitable for flexo and rotogravure printing applications. They can be used for reverse printing of flexible films.

In addition, the company will exhibit full line of expanded color gamut inks for a wide range of printing applications.
