The event will take place from 19 to 20 July in San Salvador.

At the event, the company will exhibit SunUno Solimax ink system, which can be for surface print applications on commonly used flexible packaging substrates.

Designed for use on both rotogravure and flexographic presses, the SunStrato Duratort, SunStrato Duraflex and SunStrato Duraline are latest generation of high strength and poly lamination inks suitable for reverse printing of flexible films.

Part of the Solaris system of products, the SolarFilm, SolarVIP and SolarCup water-based flexo inks meet the printing requirements of narrow web and packaging printers.

With high color strength and print quality, the SolarFilm range of inks enable narrow web flexo printing onto synthetic substrates and papers.

SolarCup can be used for narrow web printing on semi-porous substrates and polyethylene with corona treatment of minimum 40 DIN.

SunLam lamination adhesives include water-based, solvent-free and solvent-based products, which will meet the needs of major packaging applications such as retort lamination for food packages.

SunLam adhesives are said to complement the firm’s wide range of lamination inks in the most demanding environments and applications.

The company will also exhibit full line of expanded color gamut inks, which can be used in a range of printing applications.

The expanded color gamut printing process enables customers to build a simple process for efficient printing with increased more press uptime, and accurate and repeatable color.

In addition, Sun Chemical will exhibit SunColorBox toolkit, which includes a set of applications and services for converters to produce consistent brand colors.

Sun Chemical Latin America president Fernando Tavara said: “Sun Chemical is committed to providing customers with solutions that increase productivity, reduce waste and meet brand owner requirements for sustainability, shelf standout and color consistency.

“At EMPAQ 2018, we will highlight a variety of innovative solutions that meet regulatory requirements and meet the specific needs of each individual customer.”
