Soteria Flexibles has closed the acquisition of US-based flexible packaging producer Redi-Bag for an undisclosed sum.

Based in Tukwila of Washington, Redi-Bag is engaged in the manufacturing of polyethylene film and plastic packaging solutions for customers in the Pacific Northwest.

With expertise in polyethylene film extrusion and bag converting, the company serves the distribution, food processing and general industrial markets.

Established in 1992, Redi-Bag mainly focuses on the customers in the seafood and produce packing markets.

The company’s product portfolio consists of shrink bundling film, box liners, bin and drum liners, wicketed bags, perf-roll bags, pallet covers, sheeting and poly tubing as well as other custom flexible packaging solutions.

Soteria Flexibles stated that it will continue to manage the acquired business under the Redi-Bag name.

The acquisition of Redi-Bag will allow Soteria Flexibles to further strengthen its manufacturing capabilities and product offerings, in addition to expanding its geographical footprint.

The company produces containment products, healthcare isolation liners, bag-on-a-roll, coreless rolls and biodegradable films.
