Shorewood Packaging has ordered the CostFlow financial applications soft-ware package developed by Chapel Business Systems for nine of its folding carton plants in North America.
The order is a direct result of a co-operative marketing agreement with Avalon Printing Software and Chapel. During the last 18 months, Avalon has been installing its Accelerate estimating and quotation system across 15 Shorewood business units.
“CostFlow, which is tailored towards a company’s cost control and financial forecasting needs, integrates well with our Accelerate estimating and quotation system,” says Avalon founder Andy Armitage. In multi-plant operations, like Shorewood Packaging, it is essential to have consistency of price structures between the plants.”
