Paper-based packaging products manufacturer Smurfit Kappa UK has acquired an independent corrugated packaging provider Atlas Packaging.
Atlas Packaging is a privately owned firm located in Barnstaple, North Devon.
The firm has a significant market presence in the UK, allowing it to meet the demands and provide value to its diverse client base.
Atlas Packaging has a strong market footprint in shelf-ready packaging, gift boxing, the e-commerce sector and other broad range of innovative products.
Smurfit Kappa UK has operations throughout the UK and is a subsidiary of Smurfit Kappa Group.

Last month, Smurfit Kappa launched a new sustainable packaging solution for detergent pods and capsules that is a 100% plastic-free packaging solution with a 40% reduced carbon footprint compared to the traditional rigid plastic alternatives.
Smurfit Kappa has operations in 23 European countries and 13 countries in the Americas.
