Smurfit UK has ordered Kiwiplan Europe’s production software for its Norwich Corrugated Board operation. The new system, already used by the company’s Windrush facility, is being installed in both Norwich manufacturing sites.
Used in some 400 corrugated plants worldwide, Kiwiplan covers all aspects of the production process, from ordering raw materials to delivering finished prod- ucts. Designed to increase throughput and profits, it includes systems controlling inventory, scheduling and sales order management.
