A Schiavi Sigma eight colour gearless CI flexo press press has been installed at the Danapak Flexibles site in Horsens, Denmark.
The 1,250mm width Sigma uses sleeves for both anilox rollers and plate cylinders, and has an on-board washing system.
Plant manager Carsten Pedersen comments: “Due to shorter order sizes, I found the Sigma very suitable for our production. The short job change-over and integrated washing system are important factors.”
