Pretzel manufacturer Union Snacks has installed a Packaging Automation Vision 182 heatsealer to help meet increased demand for its seasonal lines of star-shaped pretzel packs.
Replacing a hired Packaging Automation machine with which the customer was very pleased, the latest heatsealer features a PLC control and easy to use touchscreen.
It also has simple, menu-driven controls and will operate with plain or printed reel-fed film. It is being used to seal star-shaped tray packs supplied to leading UK retailers as Christmas lines.
