Protective packaging company Sealed Air has introduced an inflatable cushioning system.
NewAir I.B. Express is a versatile, compact, high-performance packaging system able to produce Barrier Bubble material at speeds up to 20 metres/minute – fast enough to keep up with the most demanding packaging operations, says the company.
Cushions can have finished widths of 300mm and 600mm. Options include a variety of film sizes and film strengths.
‘Regular’ strength film contains up to 15%brecycled content.
The compact size and speed of the NewAir I.B. Express system allows Barrier Bubble cushions to be produced at workstations, on-line, or for batching processes.
The system is compatible with batching options such as the roll winder attachment, Instasheeter high-speed converting system and Jet Stream delivery system.
“The NewAir I.B. Express one of the most flexible inflatable cushioning systems on the market,” said Andy Robinson, European product manager at Sealed Air.
