Saxco International, a packaging solutions provider to the beverage and food industries, has acquired the shrink sleeve solutions provider We Sleeve-It (WSI) from the RB Dwyer Group.
RB Dwyer Group is a family-owned flexible packaging business focused on servicing the pharmaceutical, automotive, fresh fruit, craft beer and wine industries.
With six facilities across the US, WSI specialises in printing plastic label sleeves for craft beverages in aluminium cans.
The acquisition of WSI will enable Saxco to strengthen its aluminium can service offerings to the beverage market and expand its geographical footprint in North America.
RB Dwyer CEO Jim Dwyer said: “The entire WSI team is extremely excited to be partnering with Saxco. All along, we viewed Saxco as the perfect strategic partner having worked so closely for the past three years.

Saxco said that sleeving operations are important for craft beverage customers, and is well-positioned to provide the cans, and related packaging and sleeving services.
Based in Concord, California, the company has a network of customer support and fulfilment centres across the US, Canada, and Asia.
