Parade is Sappi’s new range of three one-sided coated label papers for wet glue applications.
Parade Prima is for general dry goods, including cans, jars and confectionery wrappers, Parade Aqua for wet strength labelling of non-returnable PVC, PET and glass containers, and Parade Souplesse for similar labelling of returnable bottles.
All three papers are the result of a EUR4.5M rebuild at Sappi’s Maastricht, Netherlands mill, which the company says allows the manufacture of tougher, higher quality papers for today’s higher speed printing and labelling lines.
Prima comes in 70-120g/m2 grammages and Aqua and Souplesse in grammages up to 85g/m2 and 90g/m2 respectively.
