The new 106,000ft² renovated facility is located in the Cornwall Business Park at 3400 Montreal Road overlooking the St. Lawrence River.

It features advanced blow-moulding equipment, which will facilitate the production of a full range of PET recycled plastic bottles.

The manufacturing line of the facility includes automated filling, capping and custom labelling machines as well as provides packaging solutions.

Saniton Plastic executive coordinator Makiah Virtue said: “The new facility gives us ample space for our production needs with room to grow in the future.

“Cornwall’s strategic location makes it easy for us to ship our products to our customers.”

At present, Saniton Plastic is producing bottles to meet the demand of its sub-division – True North hand sanitisers.

The Canadian firm produces and packs Natural Health products under the True North brand for distribution across the world.

Saniton Plastic stated that it is implementing Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) to ensure the safety and quality of the products.
