MeadWestvaco Corp and EastPrint have formed a consumer packaging company near Moscow to supply printed paperboard packaging for global and Russian based tobacco companies.
Says Rita Foley, senior vp and chief operating officer of MeadWestvaco’s global Consumer Packaging Group: “Several important tobacco customers are actively expanding their Russian presence, and their packaging needs will give WestvacoEastPrint a full order book from the start.” The company currently supports customers in Europe through its Wall Group subsidiary.
