RPC Superfos, part of RPC Group, has provided its UniPak pot for US-based gelato ice cream firm Palazzolo’s Artisan Dairy.

UniPak pot is provided with tamper evident feature, which can be easily detected and offers better convenience for end-users to break.
Palazzolo’s Artisan Dairy CEO and founder Pete Palazzolo said: “Besides assuring the end-user of an untouched product, the feature optimises our manufacturing process and, at the same time, it safeguards the quality of the Palazzolo products.
“This is because tamper evidence eliminates the need for burning a foil seal on the plastic rim, so our gelato avoids a heat shock – it stays delicious and we save time.”
The pot also features spoon in the lid, which makes the range’s 69mm diameter model suitable for eating instantly.
The spoon in the pot’s lid is said to add adds convenience to Palazzolo’s gelatos, sorbets, and other products, which are sold from food trucks in front of American football stadiums, concert halls and at other events.
RPC has also embellished the UniPak pot solution with advanced scratch-resistant in-mould labeling that generates immaculate graphics, vivid colors and clear details. It will help to reflect the bright colors and intense flavors that characterize Palazzolo’s products.

Established in 1986 and based in Michigan, Palazzolo’s Artisan Dairy provides more than 1,000 flavors ranging from vegan frozen yoghurt to banana split sundae. The firm operates 50,000ft² dairy.
In October this year, RPC Superfos provided its SuperLock pot for Slovenian company Petlja’s Viki Duo chocolate spread.
Viki Duo chocolate spread is available in two colors such as brown and white, and is packaged in SuperLock pot in two sizes, 380g and 600g, with a screw lid.
