NCSD products maker Riedel has finalised SIG’s portable combismile carton pack to offer its juice brand portfolio.
Dutch company Riedel will pack its Appelsientje, CoolBest and DubbelDrank juice brands in the combismile along with the SIGNATURE FULL BARRIER packaging material.
SIG said that SIGNATURE material consists of polymers that are linked to certified forest-based renewable materials via a mass-balance system.
According to the packaging firm, the combismile carton is the ideal lifestyle match for Riedel juices and delivers the utmost in on-the-go ease. It is simple to open, handle, hold, close, and store when travelling.
It provides customers with convenient consumption straight from the pack by combining a convenient one-step closure with a curved, contemporary design with easy-grip edges.
Riedel in close collaboration with SIG has naturally developed substantial knowledge in carton packaging over time.
The new 330ml on-the-go combismile carton pack develops Riedel’s carton packaging range to provide customers with the most practical and sustainable option.
Riedel marketeer Julie van Bergen said: “Being the first to offer Dutch consumers such a great convenient and sustainable packaging solution for our on-the-go juices is an important step forward for Riedel.
“We conducted an independent life cycle assessment, and the positive results show SIG’s combismile pack has 75% less carbon dioxide emissions than our previous PET bottles.
“On one hand, we are following our carton pack roots, while on the other, bringing true innovation with combismile and SIGNATURE FULL BARRIER, as our busy consumers gravitate towards more sustainable and convenient packaging options.”
Additionally, Riedel already uses SIGNATURE FULL BARRIER packaging material for 1,000ml and 1,500ml juice carton packs from SIG.
