The product and mould design building is equipped with CAD CAM Pro-Engineer software that will enable Rexam to increase efficiency and work more closely alongside customers and packaging designers.
The system allows colour 3D images to be created on screen. It also enables mock up labels to be placed immediately on bottle images and visuals to be more easily fine-tuned.
In addition, electronic data transfer between the initial product and subsequent mould design processes will increase overall production efficiency.
