Protective Packaging Limited developed the sacks to replicate customers current sack dimensions. Being hermetically sealed they are claimed to provide 'total climatic protection', cutting the risk of product damage.
The barrier foils protect against moisture and oxygen ingress, odour transfer, aggressive gases, temperature and U.V. When hermetically sealed barrier foils are said to provide the lowest known water vapour transmission rate of any flexible material, claimed 80 times more effective than 500 gauge polythene.
