Tray sealing solutions provider Proseal has expanded its portfolio with the introduction of a new patent-pending CP3 fully automatic case packing system.

The new fully automatic case packing system is said to complement the company’s wide range of tray sealing machines to provide customers with a complete primary and transit packing solution.

Proseal’s new case packer integrates advanced power consumption with a compact footprint to fill cases at up to 120 packs per minute.

The system features a ProMotion tray infeed system, which helps to efficiently control the flow of trays and feed continuously in the case packer without stopping.

It has the potential to handle different pack formats, including trays, pots and sandwich packs, in materials such as A-PET, C-PET and board.

Auto tool technology facilitates fast and easy format changes, while Quick Release (QR) conveyors enable swift removal and replacement to boost and simplify cleaning and maintenance.

The new case packer features ProTect user login and audit trail security system that facilitates authorisation access for individual personnel.

It offers full compatibility with the ProVision OEE and downtime analyser, which allows a comprehensive real-time view of machine performance.

The system also offers options such as additional crate fill, as well as increased length of buffering conveyor for higher speeds.

The CP3 can also be incorporated with complementary equipment such as case erectors, existing create delivery systems, labellers and coders.

Proseal control systems engineer Nick Severn said: “All the qualities that have made our tray sealing machines so successful have been maintained within our new Proseal CP3.

“For food manufacturers, it provides the perfect complement to help ensure fast and efficient onward delivery to meet the strict deadlines of the retail sector.”

Proseal is engaged in the designing and manufacturing of tray sealing machines, conveyor systems and sealing tools for food industry markets across the world.
