Processing and packaging machinery solutions provider ProMach has acquired US-based engineered process systems provider TechniBlend for an undisclosed sum.

Based in Waukesha, Wisconsin, TechniBlend offers a range of technologically advanced liquid processing machinery and services for various market segments such as food, dairy, chemicals, and household and personal care products.

The acquisition of TechniBlend will enable ProMach to expand its processing technologies portfolio, in addition to boosting its capacity to deliver complete turnkey systems for any part of the production line.

ProMach president and CEO Mark Anderson said: “With the addition of TechniBlend, ProMach now has a very comprehensive portfolio of liquid food and beverage processing technologies that includes our Statco-DSI, Allpax, and Stock product brands.

“This is another strong step towards becoming the total solutions provider for customers across North America who are looking for a trusted partner to help them succeed in an increasingly competitive marketplace.”

TechniBlend offers beverage solutions ranging from hot to cold, carbonated to non-carbonated, and alcoholic to non-alcoholic.

Engineered solutions offered by TechniBlend consist of deaerators, batching and blending systems, carbonation systems, nitrogenation systems, proofing systems, alcohol separation systems, degassing systems, flash pasteurisation systems, can filling and seaming systems and clean-in-place systems for ready-to-drink beverages to market.

The company also delivers engineering services and complete turnkey liquid manufacturing systems for use in applications ranging from vitamin water, soft drinks, teas, coffees, and juices to craft beer, ready-to-drink cocktails, seltzer and kombucha.

ProBrew, a subsidiary brand of TechniBlend, supplies technologically advanced brewing processing equipment for customers to expand their independent and artisan brands across local and national markets.

Under the deal, TechniBlend’s complete staff will join the ProMach team. TechniBlend current president Derek Deubel will join ProMach as vice president and general manager of TechniBlend.

In November last year, ProMach acquired US-based CL&D Graphics and CL&D Digital for an undisclosed sum.
