Flexible packaging company ProAmpac has acquired Ireland-based protein packaging products supplier Euroflex for an undisclosed sum.
Euroflex is a family-owned business involved in the manufacturing of a range of flexible printed film, lamination and pouching packaging solutions.
The company supplies protein packaging products to the meat, cheese and dairy industries in Ireland.
Euroflex also serves customers in the coffee, pet food and nutrition supplement segments. It also offers advanced resealable and retortable packaging solutions.
Euroflex CEO Derek Richardson said: “With this combination, our expertise in high-barrier applications will complement ProAmpac’s broad offering of high-quality flexible packaging products.
“We are able to take this next step for our business because of the continued hard work and dedication of our team, and we are confident in the growth opportunities ahead.”
Euroflex manufactures printed films in flexo-print, flexible plastic composites, laminated flexible high-barrier films along with a varying technical range in vacuum pouches.

Earlier this month, ProAmpac acquired recycled paper packaging products manufacturer APC Paper Group.
With more than 5,000 customers in 90 countries, ProAmpac produces flexible and sustainable packaging and material science solutions for various consumer, healthcare, e-commerce, retail and industrial goods markets.
