Flexible packaging company ProAmpac has acquired Canada-based flexible packaging products manufacturer Belle-Pak Packaging for an undisclosed sum.

Based in Ontario, Belle-Pak offers a range of flexible packaging products such as poly mailers for e-commerce and logistics services, packing list envelopes and custom medical and clinical bags.

The company’s product portfolio consists of medical bags, security bags, retail bags, stock poly mailers, stretch sleeves and printed rollstock.

Belle-Pak CEO Yves Nahmias said: “Greg and the ProAmpac team are the perfect partners for Belle-Pak’s next chapter. Our strength in the e-commerce, logistics and healthcare end markets complements ProAmpac’s leadership in product innovation and manufacturing scale.”

The acquisition of Belle-Pak will allow ProAmpac to expand its operations in Canada and strengthen its presence in e-commerce, healthcare and logistics end markets.

Belle-Pak will also enable ProAmpac to deliver advanced flexible packaging solutions for a broader base of customers across North America.

ProAmpac founder and CEO Greg Tucker said: “I am pleased to welcome the talented Belle-Pak team to ProAmpac as we continue our growth in Canada and embark on this exciting partnership.

“With Belle-Pak’s advanced technology and efficient manufacturing capabilities, our combined company will be well-positioned for continued growth and operational excellence.”

With more than 7,000 employees in 90 countries, ProAmpac develops and produces flexible and sustainable packaging and material science solutions for various consumer, healthcare, e-commerce, retail and industrial goods markets.

In December last year, ProAmpac acquired US-based flexible packaging and labelling services provider Prairie State Group (PSG).
