Pro Carton prize winners

This year’s Pro Carton/ECMA Carton of the Year winner is the Kitzbühler Horn pack produced by Mayr-Melnhof Packaging Austria for Confiserie Manfred Wiegand. The carton was printed one colour offset with matt varnish, partial UV varnish and textured embossing. Cartonboard was Iggesund’s Invercote. Most Innovative Design winner was Switerland’s Model PrimePac, whose Papillon Crisp pack for Kraft Foods Schweiz opens to form a serving tray. Again, the substrate was Invercote.
