Field Boxmore Healthcare Packaging, in Leicester, UK, has commissioned a new six colour plus coater Lithrone 628 press. It will enable the company to meet increasing demands for greater colour on the wide range of high quality pharmaceutical work produced at the site.
The company has also taken a Lüscher Xpose! 130 8-up platesetter with plate handing system from Turning Point Technologies. The thermal platesetter will replace a visible light system it has used for four years.
According to production manager Paul Jones: “The Lüscher will not just give us additional production capacity and decrease makeready times. Quality will also be enhanced, due to cleaner, more accurate plates.”
