About £4.3 million has very recently been invested into a rebuild of one of Rexam Glass Gostyn’s flint glass furnaces in Eastern Europe.
“As a result of the repair, the quality of bottles and jars produced at the plant has improved, while energy consumption and environmental pollution has been reduced,” says the furnace department manager Janusz Hegyi at the Polish-based factory.
