Ferrarelle Group brand has selected PET Engineering to handle the product design of new functional waters, based on development of two other packaging solutions for brands such as Fonte Essenziale and Acqua Vitasnella.

PET Engineering has designed both the shape and graphics of the bottle, in a bid to provide efficient packaging for new packaging range.

Le Linfe range includes three sugar-free and zero-calorie functional waters, which aggregate the lightness of Vitasnella with purifying qualities of aloe vera, draining properties of birch and hydrating benefits of coconut water.

Focusing on female target audience, PET Engineering has developed the new packaging for the new range of functional waters.

As part of the new packaging, the company has provided a unique product identity to convey both the lightness of the water and key value of AcquaVitasnella, as well as functional benefit of each variant.

PET Engineering has taken the decoration on the Le Linfe packaging from the iconic Acqua Vitasnella bottle.

The artwork is said to sinuously run down the bottle, helping to symbolize the water entering the body and excess liquids and toxins being eliminated.

PET Engineering said the new packaging offers continuity in terms of appearance and defines Le Linfe as a product with its own characteristics.

The bottle features a full-sleeve with a simple and effective iconographic style, which focuses the positive point of each variant, enabling to clearly show the main ingredient and its benefits.

PET Engineering, which is specialized in the PET packaging design and manufacturing, provided packaging for brands such as Pepsico, Nestlé Waters, Carlsberg, Heineken, Coca Cola, AbInbev and Ferrarelle.

The company develops solutions to meet the needs of PET packaging for food and beverages.

PET Engineering’s packaging development process ranges from designing pre-forms to new packaging concepts, and prototyping preforms and bottles to laboratory testing.

The process also consists of production launch phase, supplying blow moulds and providing format change and thread conversion services.
