Bacardi has launched its second PET packaged drink, following its successful introduction with the Bacardi Breezer range.
The vodka-based Rigo brand is using custom-designed 350ml AmGuard multi-layer PET bottles supplied by Amcor PET Packaging for the German market.
The bottle offers a shelf-life of 9-12 months. It is being sent to a new high speed Krones filling line at the Bacardi plant, near Hamburg, which is capable of filling 1000 bottles/min.
