UK paper distributor PaperCo has acquired packaging materials merchant 1st Class Packaging. The £4M, Northampton based company will spearhead the creation of a national packaging division within PaperCo. It will operate as a stand-alone PaperCo division under managing director Barry Hancock, aiming “to evolve as a first choice provider of industrial packaging solutions nationwide”. 1st Class Packaging supplies tape, corrugated board, stretch film, palletwrap and loose fill cushioning, to the distribution, electronic, print, engineering and contract packing industries.
