Business cloud software company Infor has announced that Oliver Packaging & Equipment is using its integrated Infor CloudSuite Industrial and artificial intelligence (AI) solution to help supply critical food supplies.
Oliver Packaging & Equipment, a food equipment and meal packaging systems maker, will use the solution to help senior meals programmes, healthcare organisations, schools, grocery stores and more.
The integrated solution will allow Michigan-based Oliver Packaging & Equipment to streamline its inventory 30 times faster and increase customer and employee satisfaction.
Oliver deployed anomaly detection algorithms to quickly and precisely identify unusual customer orders and amounts by utilising integrated Infor Coleman AI services with Infor CloudSuite Industrial.
The packaging system maker received daily processing of these anomalies via machine learning in the form of a user-friendly dashboard.
The dashboard reviews and analyses the variations for sales and operations to make crucial real-time business choices.

Oliver has implemented the AI solution in less than 30 days and reduced the employee workload in identifying customer order anomalies by 90%.
The packaging maker was able to deploy the solution in less than 30 days because the Infor OS technology platform supported the firm to automate the procedure for gathering, evaluating, and consuming data.
The order from Infor CloudSuite Industrial is automatically collected and maintained in the Infor Data Lake with integrated services to create, distribute, and use AI-driven insights, Infor added.
