Now Plastics serves the flexible packaging, label and industrial converting industries in North America, Central and South America, the UK, Europe and North Africa.

The new line of products uses high content of recycled PET materials that were fully sanitized and reconfigured into film grade resin, turning it environmentally sensitive and 100% compliant with sustainability requirements.

By using an advanced technology, the company has produced resins from post-consumer grade PET bottles. These resins are used for the production of PET films, and are approved by the FDA and EU for use in food contact and other product applications.

According to the company, the new PET films exhibit the same performance specifications of other PET films, as well as offer high impact strength and effective barrier properties against water, carbon dioxide, oxygen and nitrogen.

Now Plastics CEO Larry Silverstein said: “As both regulators and consumers demand that industry reduce its carbon footprint, the advantages of converting post-consumer waste into reusable products are clear.

“By using these very high PCR content films in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry, businesses can deliver on corporate sustainability goals.

“Moreover, as governments announce new tariffs on packaging made with solely virgin resins, these PCR films will allow our converter customers, and ultimately consumers, to avoid these new costs and achieve the lowest packaging cost possible.”

Now Plastics supplies a range of high performance film products, including polyester film (PET) film, light gauge, converter lamination grade aluminum foil, bi-axially oriented polypropylene film (BOPP film) and Biax Nylon (BOPA).

The company offers products, logistics, financing and product warranties to the customers, and sources its products from multiple manufacturers in diverse locations.

In addition, the firm offers customers with customized supply chain programs and multiplicity of products from multiple global sources to mitigate risk.
