Novvia Group, a supplier of rigid container and life sciences packaging solutions, has snapped up New Jersey-based rigid packaging solutions provider Rahway Steel Drum Company for an undisclosed sum.
Rahway supplies different rigid packaging products to the Northeast. The firm has a facility located in Cranbury, New Jersey and operates its own fleet of tractors and trailers for timely delivery and high-quality customer service.
It offers a range of packaging products to customers working in a variety of industries, including metal and plastic drums and pails, IBCs, refurbished containers, and other rigid packaging items.
Rahway Steel Drum Company owners Mike and Tony Foglia said: “We are excited to join Novvia, who will support Rahway in accelerating our growth and delivering additional value to our customers.
“We are proud of Rahway’s long and rich history and look forward to the significant future opportunities made possible by this partnership.”
The acquisition will also help expand Novvia’s footprint in the Northeast.

Last month, the company acquired California-based plastic, metal, glass, and corrugated containers distributor Innovative Container.
Innovative Container offers rigid packaging solutions such as pails, drums, bottles, jugs, jars, and cans for end markets like paints and coatings, chemicals, inks, food, and emergency preparedness.
