A new player in the self adhesives market has been created through a management buy-out of three Avery Dennison European label converting plants.
Sentega Holding, a company founded by a group of four former Avery Dennison executives in Europe, has acquired three operations from the group. The four founders are: Svend Joergensen, Bent Hestehauge, Jean-Luc Verstraeten and Jens Brusgaard.
Sentega, which is privately held, is said to rank among the top 10 label converters in Europe. It has operations in the Benelux countries, France, Germany and the UK, with headquarters in The Netherlands. The new company will specialize in manufacturing customized self adhesive labels for customers across Europe.
In addition to its manufacturing plants in the UK and The Netherlands, Sentega will run a pan European sales operation. Its customer base includes many major automotive, electronics, aeronautics and durable goods manufacturers, as well as retail and logistics operators in Europe.
