Nelipak Healthcare Packaging, a manufacturer of custom thermoformed packaging products, has introduced NX-B rotary tray and blister lid heat sealers.
The new freestanding, customizable machines are designed to meet the demands of high volume production runs or mixed short runs which require quick turn-around of both sealing tools and machine settings.
Available in two and four station versions, the flexible and easy-to-operate NX-B rotary tray sealers forms part of Nelipak’s CE marked custom made sealing machines portfolio which are ideal for Class 7 cleanroom operations.
Tailored to meet customers’ specific sealing needs, the NX-B machines feature PLC controls with options for in-line lid stock pick and place, robotic handling of trays, and in-line printing of lids.
Claimed to be reliable and easy to maintain, the Nelipak’s sealers also feature quick tool change sealing dies and profiled heat plates with RFID readable tags linked to machine recipes.
Nelipak said its machines seal a variety of coated lid materials including Tyvek, paper, film or foil as well as ensures validated seals when used in conjunction with its matching sealing dies, blisters and tools.

Additionally, the firm has enhanced its NX-T1 PLC Controlled Sealer featuring a touch button for “hands free” sealing.
The machine’s drawer is designed to automatically close to seal trays and returns to the open position once the seal cycle is completed.
