Hyperform HPN-20E nucleating agents from Milliken are said to improve optical, moisture barrier, and mechanical properties for PE resins, offering expanded functionality in films and packaging. A recently granted FCN for HPN-20E in polyolefins allows broad usage across a range of food contact applications. Milliken has invested in a new in-house blown film line capable of producing PP and PE films up to a layflat of 559mm.
