Netherlands based Paper- Foam has licensed BCL Industries, of Penang, to produce its patented environmental packaging material in Malaysia.
The production facility to be built under the license will become operational in January, 2003, with an initial annual capacity of 100t – about four million packaging units. This is expected to grow to 300t in 2005.
PaperFoam is targeted at manufacturers of consumer electronics.
